“I began searching for AAC support when my son was just 1 yr old. For 3 yrs I jumped through hoop after hoop, desperate to find a therapist who believed in my child’s ability to communicate and would help us get an eye-gaze speech device. I tried CCS, private insurance and even hired independent therapists to come in to evaluate him. But I hit nothing but walls.
